Wizkid Trolls Davido, Don Jazzy On X

Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, has taken to social media to troll Davido and Don Jazzy.

In the early hours of Monday, Wizkid was momentarily active on X, engaging fans and even trolling fellow artist Davido and firing a veiled shot at Don Jazzy.

In a post on his X account, he expressed, “Every day I get things to say but my mouth no good”. When a fan asked him to release new music, he humourously replied, “Is it by force?”.

He asked his fans to beg him for new music, using Davido’s recently viral crying video as an example. “Beg me like this” he posted alongside the viral video.

He also threw some jabs at Music producer, Don Jazzy, when he replied to a fan who said, “Wizkid Ladipo still talk nonsense yesterday o, Abeg enter that one too.”

“Lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next,” Wizkid said.

Wizkid then reposted a post that reads “No b don jazzy b that?”, hinting at Don Jazzy is the “influencer” he was talking about.

Don Jazzy is a Nigerian record producer that founded ‘Mavin Record Label’ that housed big names like Wande Coal, D’Prince and Don Jazzy at some point.

Wizkid has also been promoting his upcoming album, ‘Morayo’. This album holds special significance as it serves as a heartfelt tribute to his late mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023.

He has also distanced himself from being called an “Afrobeats” singer saying, “Don’t call me an Afrobeats artiste. I’m not Afro anything.”.

As anticipation builds up for the release of ‘Morayo,’ fans await the new path he would take with his latest music.
