Israel stated this at his Progressives National Youth Wing Easter Party and 2023 Election Thank You Dinner.
Israel said Tinubu remains a trailblazer, while urging Nigerians to be optimistic and believe the President-Elect’s ability to turn the fortunes of Nigeria around.
He said, “By the grace of the almighty we have no doubt that Tinubu is going to carry the young people along in his administration; he will give young people opportunity to serve their father land.
“He is going to include youth participation and inclusion in his government and we have a lot of young, bright Nigerians, who are ready, committed and willing to serve their father land to make Nigeria great again.
“We want a Nigeria that works, we want a Nigeria with a quality education system and we want a Nigeria with economic prosperity.
Israel urged Nigerians not to despair, adding that within the space of six months after Tinubu’s inauguration as President, it would be good tidings for the country.
He added that the 2023 election was unimaginable, given the twists and turns and diversity that greeted it.
“Even though we believed Tinubu was going to win, it was a three or four horse race that was intense but our people went out to knock on doors, mobilise and canvas the grassroots to enable APC to be victorious.”
Speaking on the importance of the dinner, Israel said: “I see it as a responsibility to say thank you to our supporters and electorate, we had the same in Abuja last week at the Transcorp Hilton hall to appreciate our people from the North.
“We are doing this for those in the South and particularly the Southwest, we are also visiting one or two other states to host an Easter dinner and Iftar event to say thank you to our people for the support given to Tinubu.
For Gboyega Isiaka (GNI), the newly elected House of Representatives-elect for Egbado North Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency, Ogun State, “Tinubu’s qualities are pointing to the restoration of hope to every Nigerians, old and young.
“The youths have demonstrated with their votes that it is time for their place to be recognised in the polity, they constitute the major part of our voting population that is why I commend Israel and his team for going round to canvas for votes.”
