Tosin Onanuga, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s mobile technology sector, is leading the charge for digital inclusion, aiming to bridge the gap and empower disenfranchised children and youths through access to digital infrastructure.

Recognizing the transformative power of technology in accelerating education and socioeconomic progress, Onanuga is dedicated to ensuring that all Nigerians have equal opportunities to thrive in the digital age.

Despite Nigeria’s growing prominence in the global technology landscape, digital inclusion remains a significant challenge, particularly for marginalized communities.

According to recent statistics, only 40.48 % of Nigerians have access to the internet, highlighting the urgent need for initiatives to address the digital divide.

Onanuga’s advocacy for digital inclusion is rooted in his own journey of empowerment.

Having risen to prominence in the mobile technology sector as the founder of Mobilexcetera, the first company to run an sms predict and win service in Nigeria,  Onanuga understands firsthand the opportunities that technology can unlock.

Now, he is committed to paying it forward by empowering others to realize their full potential.

Through his scholarships and grants, Onanuga has been able to provide much-needed support to disenfranchised children and youths, enabling them to access digital infrastructure and educational resources.

By investing in their futures, he is not only bridging the gap of digital inclusion but also creating pathways for socioeconomic advancement and empowerment.

“Onanuga’s commitment to digital inclusion is commendable and has greatly helped me as I am also able to empower other people as well,” says David Adaranijo, who is a beneficiary of this initiative.

“By leveraging his expertise and resources to empower disenfranchised youth, he is helping to create a more inclusive and equitable society.”

As Onanuga continues to expand his digital inclusion initiatives, he remains steadfast in his mission to close the gap and ensure that all Nigerians have access to the opportunities afforded by technology.

Through his leadership and advocacy, he is paving the way for a brighter and more inclusive future for Nigeria and its people.
