Tekno, Kizz Daniel Clash Over ‘Buga’ Royalties Gets Messier

Nigerian singers Tekno and Kizz Daniel have been at each other’s necks on X.

The dispute revolves around the financial terms of their collaboration on the hit song ‘Buga’.

It has led to an exchange of words between the two artists on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The controversy began when news started circulating online that Kizz shared 50 percent of the earnings from their collaborative track ‘Buga’ each month.

They also alleged that Tekno disclosed receiving nearly a billion Naira from Kizz Daniel as royalties for their collaborative song.

He responded to these allegations by stating that the interview was absolutely nothing but a fabricated one, tagging it as false. He said that Kizz Daniel doesn’t have such kind of money to pay him.

He wrote; “Him money no reach. Anybody wey put out that fake interview, thunder fire your mama. #Talkingshit.”

Kizz Daniel didn’t respond immediately to this shady tweet on April 14th when it was posted.

However, on April 29th, Kizz Daniel responded with a counterattack against Tekno.

He referred to him as a foolish person and bastard, stressing that he helped Tekno with a feature on his global song, Buga, only for him to start spewing trash on social media.

Kizz Daniel wrote; “Dem mention money you sef dey talk… spewing shit like anus see ekuke way we rescue with BUGA !! Oloribu omo ale.”
