Legendary Serie A striker Antonio Di Natale has likened Napoli star Victor Osimhen to 2006 Italy World Cup winner Vincenzo Iaquinta.

Di Natale’s former club Udinese will host Napoli on Thursday and a draw will be enough for the Partenopei to win their first Serie A title in 33 years.

Osimhen has been pivotal to Napoli’s surge to the title, bagging 21 goals in 26 league games.

Following Osimhen’s impressive campaign, Di Natale compared the Super Eagles striker to Iaquinta who he played with at Udinese,

“I like Osimhen so much for the way he attacks space,” Di Natale told Gazzetta.

“He is a complete striker. Thinking about the past, he reminds me of Vincenzo Iaquinta for the way he attacks space. Osimhen is always a tricky opponent.”

Iaquinta scored 89 goals in 269 Serie A matches and was on target in Italy’s 2-0 win against Ghana in their first game at the 2006 World Cup.
