Sanwo-olu, Shittu commend Nigeria, USA Rotary Clubs on war against cholera

Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Sanwo-Olu and Chairman, Lagos State Universal Education Board (LASUBEB), Dr. Hakeem Shittu, have commended Rotary Club of Onigbongbo, District 9110, Nigeria and Rotary Club of Pleasanton CA, District 5170, United States of America for their collaborative effort at putting up modern toilet facilities tagged Water, Sanitation and Hygiene project (WASH) made up of seven female toilets, eight male toilets with four urinary bowls, two staff toilets with wash hand basins in each of the toilets worth about $7,000.

Sanwo-Olu and Shittu were both represented at the commissioning of the project by the Education Secretary, Oshodi-Isolo Local Council, Mayowa Alakija, who promised effective use of the facilities.

According to the President, Rotary Club of Onigbongbo, Rasaq Babatunde Salau, the toilets were in a deplorable state and the countenance of the pupils also showed displeasure of the state of the toilets.
