President reappoints Dabiri-Erewa NIDCOM chair, nominates six RMAFC commissioners

The Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has been reappointed for a second term in office. President Muhammadu Buhari communicated her reappointment in a letter to the Senate, requesting legislative endorsement.
 
Dabiri-Erewa was first appointed NIDCOM chair in November 2018. Prior to the appointment, she was Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora.

The House of Representatives member for Ikorodu Federal Constituency of Lagos from 2003 to 2015 also chaired the lower legislative chamber’s Committee on Diaspora Affairs.

IN another correspondence to the Red Chamber, the President sought confirmations for six Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) to fill existing vacancies.
 
The nominees are Ayogu Eze, Peter Okpara, Hauwa Aliyu, Rajiya Ayuba, Kolawole Adebola and Ismailia Agaka.
