PDP sets up Katsina Chapter Caretaker Committee

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday announced that it has set up a caretaker committee to oversee the affairs of the Katsina State Chapter of the party.


Spokesperson of the party, Hon. Debo Ologunagba in a press statement said this will be for a period not exceeding 90 days (3 months).

“The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has, on behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC), pursuant to Sections 29(2)(b) and 31(2)(e) of the Constitution of the PDP (as amended, 2017), approved the composition of Katsina State Caretaker Committee to run the affairs of the Katsina State Chapter of the Party for a period not exceeding 90 days (3 months),” Ologunagba said.

He added that the Katsina State PDP Caretaker Committee is made up of 15 members.


These are Hon. Musa A. Karim who is the Chairman while the members are ⁠Honorable Sanusi Ali, Abubakar Lawal, Abubakar Yusuf Pele, ⁠Ibrahim Lawal As Salamu Alaykum and Nura Gambo.

The other members are ⁠Tijjani Mashasha, Ubaida Jafar, Danjuma Altine, ⁠Lawal Magaji Danbaci, ⁠Haruna Garba Muraye and ⁠Ibrahim Tafashia.

Also included are ⁠Ubaida Mai Adua, ⁠Shittu Magami and Halima Zubairu Danbatta who is the Secretary.

“The NWC urges all leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of our Party in Katsina State to remain united and continue to work together for the progress of the Party and the nation,” Ologunagba added.
