Amid hardship, Christians have been called to continually imbibe the habit of praising God at all times.
The Music Director of Daystar Christian Centre, Dr. Sheyi Khenny, who disclosed this recently during the Daystar Worship Experience (DWE) with the theme: “Sound of Experience,” explained that worship experience is a programme put together to sing worship songs that will bring people to the presence of God, make them have an encounter with God in His presence.
According to him, the songs were orderly and creatively itemised in such a way that they would create the right atmosphere for God’s presence to be experienced.
Expiating on the theme, Khenny, quoted Psalm 29:11; and Matthew 11:29 to buttress his point.
He said: “As against the hardship in Nigeria and global economic recession, there shall be miracles of all-round abundant blessings with the peace of God, at this year’s Worship Experience through praise.
“Being our Year of Blossoming, the experience in His presence shall be increased and blessings that come with the peace of God.
“We shall worship God through spiritual songs, so, as to invoke the spiritual atmosphere that will make us experience positive increase in all spheres of life. God inhabits the praises of His people.
“God dwells amid those that worship Him. Hence, miracles of increase, all-round blessings and peace of God that passes all understanding shall be invoked through the sound of praise,” Khenny added.
The Senior Pastor of the church, Dr. Sam Adeyemi, said you do not have to be sufficient in what you need or have everything in abundance to praise God.
He said: “When God is praised, increase will come in.”
