Plans have been concluded for the 2024 edition of the Almond Insurance Industry Awards.
The awards are expected to reward outstanding underwriting firms and individuals who have contributed to deepening insurance penetration over the years in the country.
Slated to be held on Nov 1, 2024, in Lagos, the organisers said nominations for the award are opened to insurance stakeholders to vote on their choices of insurance firms through the Almond website between May 24 and June 2024.
Speaking on the new edition, chairman of the award Panel of Judges, who was the immediate past Secretary General of the African Insurance Organisation (AIO), Ms. Prisca Soares, at a press briefing in Lagos, said the award is aimed at rewarding the ‘Can Do Spirit’ of individuals across arms of the Insurance Industry who daily selling insurance products despite apathy and low purchasing power in the country owing to the bad economic situation.
