Collaborating with legendary artists and releasing his own albums, Walesax has not only overcome self-doubt but also discovered his unique voice in the music world. Currently, he is preparing for his highly anticipated concert and tour, encouraging others to embrace their journey, stay true to their art, and never stop learning. With heartfelt testimonies and a vision to connect audiences to the divine, Walesax promises an unforgettable experience at his upcoming concert.

Can you tell us about your background and journey so far?

I started music at a very tender age of eight, way back in my juvenile church choir at ECWA Mushin. I started as a vocalist and led songs at the choir anniversaries before I fell in love with musical instruments. I can play virtually all major musical instruments, until I found the saxophone and ever since I got stuck playing the sax. The journey so far has been incredible, from my first jazz concert, way back in the university, to performing and ministering at iconic venues and churches worldwide.

I’ve been blessed to share my music with diverse audiences, collaborating with legendary artists like Mike Abdul, Segun Oluwayomi, Yinka Davies, Victor Ademofe, Monique, A’dam Songbird, and Letitia and releasing my own albums have been highlights. Overcoming self-doubt and finding my unique voice have been essential parts of my growth. Currently, I’m exploring new sounds and preparing for an upcoming concert and tour. My advice? Embrace the journey, stay true to your art, and never stop learning

What are some outstanding testimonies you have come across this year in your music ministry?

To the glory of God, putting this concert together is a big testimony to me and my ministry. It’s long overdue and I thank God this is coming to reality after a lot of obstacles and fear.

The Walesax concert is coming up in June at Swiss International, in Victoria Garden City, Lagos. What can people look forward to in this special programme?

I am ready to pour out myself to everyone coming for this concert. Jesus will be revealed and we will connect to the Most High with our heart of gratitude for the grace to be among the living.

What visions and messages did the Lord give you for everyone who will be attending or who will be watching from various locations across the globe?

Come with a heart of gratitude and see God bless you beyond your imagination. This meeting is an unusual meeting and God alone will be glorified.

Can you highlight some of the ministers to be expected at the programme and how the general planning has been in terms of finances, costs of planning, logistics and all?

My very own Minister Mike Abdul is ready to be a blessing, Victor Ademofe, A’dam Songbird, Mista Olamilekan, O’tobi, King Yonder, Veeky Royce, Mendo Ayo, Tyanx, Tyna Franklin, and many more will be around.

The planning for this concert is self sponsored in terms of finances and other logistics cost. But we’ve had support from brands and few individuals who love the brand Walesax.
