The Edo State Football Association will host an awards ceremony on December 18 at the Oba Akenzua Cultural Centre in Benin City to celebrate and honour individuals, who have contributed to the development of the game in the state.
Edo FA Chaiorman, Frank Ilaboya, said the event is organised in collaboration with the Emmanuel Usoh Foundation, adding that there would be a welcome football match for four members of the victorious Chile 2015 U-17 World Cup Golden Eaglets, who hail from Edo State.
“The awards night is also to create awareness for the Edo FA and to celebrate the football body as a brand,” Ilaboya stated.
