Nigerian artist Burna Boy has voiced his frustration with the media’s focus on his personal choices rather than his professional milestones.
The Grammy Award-winning artist expressed his dismay over the attention given to his shaved beard, a photo of which went viral, drawing comments and mockery from people.
Burna Boy, known for his Afro-fusion style and chart-topping hits, pointed out the difference in coverage, noting that his record-breaking achievements in the music industry were being overshadowed by trivial gossip.
Despite making history with his performances and albums, the artist lamented that the conversation was centered around his appearance.
