Abioye dedicates Margaret Lawrence University Teaching Hospital, Abuja

BISHOP David Abioye of Living Faith has said that persons seeking healthcare at Margaret Lawrence University Teaching Hospital (MLUTH) will not only find healing, but will also receive restoration.

He gave the assurance on Saturday during the dedication of the facility, which he referred to as “a wonderful, unique edifice” in River Park Estate in Abuja.

“It is my pleasure to declare this place blessed and it is blessed,” the bishop said. The dedication was preceded by dance and praise songs by attendees, including staff of the hospital; mother of the founder, Mrs Margaret Odili, among others.

Founder of Margaret Lawrence University and real estate magnate, Paul Odili, described the dedication of the Teaching Hospital as remarkable, saying it meant handing it over to God “who never fails.”

According to him, the coming on stream of MLUTH represents a significant milestone in the evolution of healthcare services in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja with its modern design, advanced medical infrastructure and a multi-disciplinary team of renowned healthcare professionals.

“We are dedicated to delivering unparalleled care and superior patient outcomes,” he said.

Highlighting the specialised services at MLUTH, the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Dr Alejandro Rodriquez, a consultant surgeon, said Nigerians would not have to travel abroad any more to get advanced medical care available at the hospital in Abuja.

He listed radiology, digital X-Ray, gynaecology, urology, orthopaedic, pediatrics, among others, as the hospital’s areas of strength.

“We have state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology to handle any health concern,” he added.
