RETIRED dentist, Charles Eugster, won’t let age slow him down. The 95-year-old is now the world record holder for the fastest 200-meter sprint for 95-and-overs, clocking in at 55.48 seconds. He shattered the previous record, set by Orville Rogers in 2013, by a whopping 2.4 seconds.

That’s a lot of time in the sprinting world.

Eugster’s good fortune didn’t stop there. The day before, he set the British record for the 60-meter dash.
To make this whole story even better, Eugster didn’t start exercising until he was 87 because it was then when he grew tired of looking old, according to The Telegraph. He has since won hundreds of fitness trophies, and when he’s not running, he’s lifting weights and scoffing down protein shakes like there’s no tomorrow. Consider this your wake up call.

His exploits, which were captured on film by Silver Grey Sports Club, came at the British Masters Athletics Championships in London.

A delighted Eugster said at the finish line: “It proved you can set challenges and goals at any age and achieve them.”
